The medical doctor who celebrated deaths of government officials during the height of Covid-19 deaths hiding behind a pseudonym has been identified.

Using the handle Skilled Rebhara @drjaytee87, Dr Jeremy Marume had become an acerbic character on the internet, denigrating everyone who disagrees with Nelson Chamisa – even if it meant going against ethics of the medical profession.

In some instances, he would rally his followers to anticipate deaths of top officials battling Covid-19, some of whom were admitted at institutions he is affiliated to.
His latest victim, musician Mudiwa Hood sought to pursue legal recourse for the sustained abuse he has been suffering at the hands of Dr Marume.

A letter of complaint by Mudiwa`s legal team to the Medical and Dental Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe said they had taken the legal route as a last resort after incessant attacks
Mudiwa who is also a marketer and entrepreneur has had his discography cross examined and his musical awards nominations questioned as few if nobody can recite lyrics to any of his song.

While he has been a recipient of jokes, Dr Marume has made it a point to ridicule the person of Mudiwa.
Recent remarks after Mudiwa hosted a group of Twitter users for a braai and football match in Mhondoro were the straw that broke the camel`s back.

“We are writing to you as a last resort as our client is a continued victim of one of your members namely; Dr. J Marume who goes by the username ‘skilled rebhara’ on the popular media platform Twitter.
Our client finds himself constantly being abused and harassed by your member who mentions our client’s name, demanding his private information on social media platforms, like title deeds. With your member’s sizable following, he has been attacking our client’s person,” read the letter by Mudiwa’s lawyer Arthur Marara.

The letter was also copied to the Minister and Permanent Secretary of Health and Child Care, CEO and Clinic director of Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals.

According to Mudiwa`s Twitter, Dr Marume called to apologise and Mudiwa has since recalled the letter.
The doctor whose conduct is now under scrutiny, now that the mask is off has announced that he will be off Twitter for a while.
Perhaps trying to come to terms with the consequence of his unmasking.
