2024 Independence Anniversary Celebrations and Children’s Party Preparations Underway

Preparatory works for the 2024 Independence Anniversary and Children’s Party are underway.
The celebrations will run under the theme, “Zim@44: Unity, peace and development towards Vision 2030”
Speaking at the post cabinet briefing yesterday, Minister of Information and Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Hon Jenfan Muswere highlighted the production that is happening during the preparations.
The nation is also informed that preparations for the 2024 Independence anniversary and Children’s party are on course with the roadworks and civil works has started.
Preparatory works include the road infrastructure leading to the venues of events:
“The Murambinda-Bichenough Bridge, Chivhu-Nyazura, Mushandirapamwe-Wedza, Wedza-Mutiweshiri, Marange Shrine, Gutu-Kurai as well as other roads leading to the venue,” said Minister Muswere.
Business Exhibition Programme for all Local
Authorities, youths, women, Ministries, Departments and Agencies, small
businesses, local and from outside the province, will be running along the
2024 Independence Anniversary Celebrations.
“The platform will accord the
exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their achievements in business, covering the period since the attainment of independence in 1980,” added Minister Muswere
Meanwhile, preparations for the event are well on course, with adequate logistical arrangements for the mobilisation and transportation of youths having been finalised.
